Accessibility Statement

CIN Consult Unternehmensberatungs GmbH is committed to making its website cin-consult.com accessible to people with disabilities. This statement describes the current state of compliance and our approach to remediation.

Compliance status

This website was built with the goal of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA. The relevant legal frameworks are the EU Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102) and the Austrian Web Accessibility Act (WZG).

Implemented measures

  • Semantic HTML with clear document structure (heading hierarchy, landmarks, lists)
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative graphics marked as such
  • Keyboard accessibility for all interactive elements with visible focus indicators
  • "Skip to content" link at the start of every page
  • Sufficient colour contrast per WCAG 2.1 AA (≥ 4.5:1 for body text)
  • Responsive layout, readable and operable from a 320 px viewport upward
  • Respects prefers-reduced-motion — animations are disabled for users who have requested reduced motion in their operating system
  • Contact form with correctly associated labels, required-field markers, and error messages
  • Language declarations (lang attribute) for the German and English versions

Known limitations

We are aware of the following items that may not yet fully meet requirements:

  • The hero section of the home page features a subtle background video. It carries no content essential to understanding the page and is hidden automatically for users with the "reduce motion" setting enabled.
  • Embedded PDF documents (should we add any in the future) are provided in accessible form. Retrofitting older documents may still be pending in individual cases.

These items are reviewed continuously and improved where feasible.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 28 April 2026 and is based on a self-assessment by CIN Consult Unternehmensberatungs GmbH. It is reviewed at least annually and updated whenever the website undergoes substantial changes.
